300 Vehicles in South Jakarta Undergo Emission Test

Some 300 two- and four-wheeled vehicles underwent an emission test in the courtyard of the South Jakarta Mayor's office, on Wednesday (1/5).

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin said, the emission was programmed by the city government and the Jakarta Barisan Pemuda Nusantara (BAPERA) in order to create clean and healthy air in the capital city.
"Today is the first launch of emission test in collaboration with Jakarta BAPERA," he stated.

"Hopefully, it will create cleaner air with blue sky program in South Jakarta," he explained.
Jakarta BAPERA DPD Chairman, Basri Baco added, it was targeting operational vehicles at the South Jakarta Mayor's office, either two- or four-wheeled.
"In overall, we serve around 300 vehicles, consisting of 150 motorbikes and 150 cars," he stated.
